Fishing and angling are the most favorite adventurous activities to be enjoyed in the leisure time during your holiday in most of the national parks. These two adventurous activities are very prominently desired pastime game in the vicinity of the Jim Corbett National Park. Apart from the wildlife Jeep safari, Elephant safari and birding in the Corbett tiger reserve, the lookout for the Golden Mahaseer fish and big Catfish in the adjacent river on the outer periphery of Corbett is an amazing experience for tourists.
Mahaseer is a big fish found richly in the fresh River water in the Himalayan range. A range of Mahaseer species like Golden Mahaseer, Silver Mahaseer, Black Mahaseer and Goonch are significantly found in the river flowing in and around the park. For the fishing activity at the Ramganga and the Kosi River in the vicinity of Corbett National Park, you have to take the permission from the forest officials because the fishing points are within the range of the Corbett reserve forest. However, the Mahaseer fishing is no more permitted at the Corbett National Park but you are allowed to have a close sight of these beautiful fishes in the clear deep waters of the Ramganga and Koshi River in Uttarakhand.

DURATION: 3 NIGHTS / 4 DAYS

Visit Corbett National Park

On the first day of your tour, you will arrive at the Ramnagar in the morning and then drive to the Resort that is booked for you in advance. Check in the Resort, refresh and have your lunch. Relax for the day in your room or at the swimming pool. In the evening, take a nature walk along the Koshi river and then have dinner and stay overnight at the Resort.

Fishing in the Koshi River

After the breakfast in the morning, you will go for fishing on the Koshi River for the whole day with the packed food and other necessary fishing items. You will enjoy fishing as long as you want till evening with a short break for lunch in between. In the evening back to the Resort. Have dinner at night and stay overnight at the Resort.

Fishing in the Ramganga River

On the 3rd day of your tour, you will start your day with a nice breakfast in the morning and then proceed to the Ramganga River at the Marchula village for fishing with the packed food and other essential stuff. The Marchula village is located on the bank of Ramganga River and is famous for being the excellent fishing place. Enjoy fishing in the deep water of the river for the whole day and have your lunch when you feel hungry. Again, get back to the Resort in the evening, have your dinner and stay overnight.

This is the last day of your stay in Corbett. Get up in the morning and have your breakfast and then drive back to Delhi.
